National Stamp Collecting workshop
1st March was indeed the busiest day for me - preparing for 3 groups of students in 3 different competition. Thank God my colleagues all pooled in to help. I had to bring the Red Cross down to Ngee Ann Poly for the First Aid Competition- 2 categories - Ms Melissa Lim took charge of the casualty management group and I took charge of the first aid awareness group. Mrs Sue-ann Lim brought the team to the NUS Geography challenge Prelim which I will be posting next.
22 students attended the National Stamp Collecting competition and we will be sending 14 teams for the competition. Thanks to Ms Sufi and Mr Goh for bringing the students to the Singapore Philatelic Museum.
The students had fun learning how to display the philatelic materials for the competition. Last year we had 2 Silver with special prize and 4 Bronze. Hopefully it will be better this year!
