Genting Dream Cruise Day 5 and 6

Day 5 Sea Day
Woke up to a sunny day and took a picture at our balcony above the captain's bridge.
Went to the Genting club to get my coffee but eventually gave up as the wait was too long. That's why hubby did not want to eat breakfast. They really must improve on the service.

Exploring the ship. Bowling alley next to zouk club. Palm court overlooking the VIP pool. The main pool deck bustling with activities and people. Too windy outdoor.

Went for a lucky draw. No luck. Won a $10 voucher for the spa but don't think will be going again.Hubby won 4 Spa vouchers... I think all are spa vouchers.

Lunch at Silk Road restaurant. Complimentary for suite guests. Love it. Would have visited this everyday!

Waited more than 20 mins for the Vietnamese coffee at the lobby cafe... Hubby already finished his. Need a strong coffee in the morning - really nice. Not free but grateful it's available. Watched the auction while waiting for my coffee.

Beer with live band crossover performance at the main pool. The band has kindly played one of my favourite song Hotel California.

Nobody at the VIP pool... had the whole area to ourselves. The sauna room is great with a view of the sea - all free for suite guests.

Negroni (gin) which tasted awful and Manhattan (Whiskey). All in the complimentary drink package for Suite guests.

Love the tea egg, dessert and Lor Bak  at Blue Lagoon. It is not complimentary but really appreciate local delights at sea! So impressed. Prawn crackers are so crunchy and five spice roll heavenly. Beancurd not so nice.though. The Laksa is average as they use the thin bee hoon and yellow mee. Like the cuttlefish inside the laksa.

Beautiful sunset while listening to the band performance on the pool deck. A pity it's pretty cloudy and cannot capture the full sunset. Enjoying the fresh coconut juice at $8.

Decided not to go for the BBQ buffet. Just took some photos there. Inclusive of bbq lobsters served at the table. Took Dinner at umi uma. Complimentary bento set and added the Christmas set. Kobe beef is nice but not the seafood as it's too salty. Fish jaw and tempura from the bento are nice too. Not worth paying extra for the Christmas set.

Performance at the 360 bar - not on the dream daily program....

Fantastic performance by love bugs! The children were so high, dancing before them. Firework party on the main pool deck. Pictures with dancers during the party. Was so awed by the firework. First on a cruise. Previously saw it at Aformasa resort and near my place for National day celebration.

More complimentary cocktails... Manhattan and Old fashion. Love the passion fruit cocktail so we ordered one again.

Day 6
At Genting room upper which is opened for all. The porridge and char siew buns are really good. So much for a single breakfast.

The submersibles which we did not try. Think it's highly priced.

Packed breakfast for hubby from lobby cafe cos hubby wanted kaya toast with eggs and coffee. Random pictures on the way. Always miss their performance. This is their rehearsal.

Genting club complimentary 24hr menu. Fried carrot cake and wanton mee.

Approaching Singapore. VIP room lunch fully booked. Lazy to go to Genting room on 7 and 8th deck. Will eat lunch back in Singapore. Took some light snacks and fruits while awaiting for disembarkation.

Another ship parked at the cruise centre viewed from our Living room. Just realised that the ship is Sapphire Princess which we were onboard in 2015, longest cruise at 11 days.
