ArtScience Museum Humanities Department LJ

Managed to get the whole department to go for this free educator's preview (a pity that our HOD Christopher could not make it as he is still on HL).

The 4D show at the Mummy exhibition was good - The secrets of the Tomb... you can really feel that the amulets were thrown at you.. the view into the interior of the mummy could be quite gruesome.  The exhibition area is rather small and we finished the tour quite fast - esp when they do not allow photos to be taken.
This was the only picture I took at the mummy exhibition as photography is not allowed. Took the group photo outside the exhibition.

We went to the Art of the Brick exhibition and I think we had more fun there!

Art & Science Museum, Helix Bridge

Went for an Educator's Preview of the Titanic exhibition at the Art and Science Museum today - too bad photography is not allowed in it. Not a very big exhibit but we get to see how luxurious the first-class cabin and the main staircase was like. I was also surprised that it cost almost the equivalent of USS$62,000 to travel first class then. Would have been better if there were more insights on how the survivors feel on the maiden voyage and maybe accounts from victim's family on the victims - more human touch to the exhibit.

A panoramic view from the Helix bridge using photosynth.
