Learning extended out of the school with fieldwork. The learning experience will remain to be a unique part of studying Geography.
They might not remember everything taught in class but they will remember how they work together to collect data for their geographical investigation. The challenges of rejection and the weather as well as plucking up their courage to interview the tourists. The collection, analysis and presentation of the data will enable them to pick up essential skills.
Though tired, I was grateful that the fieldwork for the four classes of students were completed on two afternoons with the help of my colleagues. Hope the students appreciate this too.
