Chinatown Fieldwork 5 July

Completed another fieldwork for the year. I hope the students had found the fieldwork enriching and value added to their learning. Gratitude for the good weather.

In loving memories of Joy.

I am already missing Joy so much. My heartache, my tears run, but it cannot bring her back.

She was just stealing the food and chocolate from my mouth the morning before the accident.  She was calling out for us to play with you but I was busy marking.

She lie weak in my hands, forcing a look at me as I rushed her to the vet.

Our last look at her in the clinic at 7 plus when she gained consciousness.  Thought she was getting better and my heart shattered receiving the call she passed away at 10 plus.

I could only see her cold body in the clinic on 2 July morning. Brought her her favourite toy and towel. The clinic helped us contact a cremation service.

I must thank Mobile Pet Cremation services for providing such a nice deco to send her off. The staff are so understanding and would walk us through the process. I was in tears again seeing what they have done for her. They have already printed her photo and placed her favourite stuff on the bed. They put her ashes so carefully into the urn with all her photos printed. Efficient and comforting.

Last view of Joy with her ID ABR-5A-384

I will miss her calling our her name..

And playing with her favourite toy, a bell.
