Enabling Village

Brought a group of students to the enabling village. Learned from Sheldon and Michael, our guide, how the village is made inclusive. Tactile indicator, ramps and wide path for wheelchair users. A great way to learn more about empathy and respect.

This area was featured in the 2024 O level Geography paper 2. The features such as the ramp allow barrier free access by wheelchair users and foster community spirit. The open space with the benches allows for the people to gather and interact with each other, fostering community spirit.
