Google Translate in Google Sheets. Tried it out and it works... How can this be used in the classroom?
Just use the following formula: =GOOGLETRANSLATE(A4,"en","zh") A4 being the cell which contains the words to be translated followed by the language it's in which is "en" (English), then the language to be translated to which is "zh" (Chinese) "in" Indonesian "ja" Japanese "ko" Korean "auto" to auto detect source lang

Shared earlier how Google translate worked in Google sheet and learned from Zhirong (in the comment) that you can convert images with text to text in Google Doc. Definitely very useful as can be seen below - the picture of the information board which I took in my Sentosa LJ is converted to text immediately!
You just have to upload the picture to Google drive and then in Google drive open the picture with Google Docs. The original image plus the converted text is shown! Its so very useful!
As mentioned as I learn, I share. As I share, I learn too!
Love #sgLDC ! #VNP
2nd VNP award on Jotform
https://m.facebook.com/groups/214056932415492?view=permalink&id=626683031152878
Trying out the jotform introduced by 世雄赖. As mentioned by him one of the advantages of this over Google form is that no email is needed to submit photo- suitable for primary school students.
Can you just try this short survey of my ICT blog -https://form.jotform.me/91453807363460
Anonymous - just want to see how the responses are. Was really awed by the number of widgets e.g. countdown timer which you can include in the form - more than 300!
Good for digital escape room. User friendly and opening up many possibilities! Maybe one day SLS would be as amazing as that! With the new embed code function - this can still be embedded in SLS though. Need to find out from 世雄赖 how to credit points to the questions and how students can move on to a section based on the choice in the option which is possible in Google form? http://ezitnew.blogspot.com/2019/05/jotform.html?m=1#VNP
3rd VNP award on flippity
https://m.facebook.com/groups/214056932415492?view=permalink&id=634907106997137
Can I nominate my own post on flippity scavenger hunt for #VNP? https://m.facebook.com/groups/214056932415492?view=permalink&id=566660357155146 Cos through the post I have also learned more about geogebra from Wei Sern Lew in the comment. Managed to use the one he created in measuring bearings with a protractor simulation for my map reading lesson in SLS. I have shared the map reading lesson in the community library. Simply love being able to embed the simulation. And definitely nominating Wei Sern sharing on geogebra #VNP https://m.facebook.com/groups/214056932415492?view=permalink&id=599031643918017Also excited to learn from former colleague Charles Lee how engaged the students are in wanting to unlock the locks using flippity scavenger hunt. https://m.facebook.com/story/graphql_permalink/?graphql_id=UzpfSTY3NjAxOTE5OTpWSzo2MjkxNDAwNjA5MDcxNzU%3D Then Zhuo Weiwen asking around for the name of the quiz https://m.facebook.com/story/graphql_permalink/?graphql_id=UzpfSTczNzM5OTcxNTpWSzo2MzQyMDkwMjA0MDAyNzk%3D Love the kampong spirit of everyone trying to help and eventually found out it is flippity scavenger hunt. Truly the spirit which makes the community grow. http://ezitnew.blogspot.com/search/label/Flippity?m=1 #VNP
