NUS Geography Challenge 2022

The competition is more competitive this year with 476 students from 117 schools participating in the NUS Geography Challenge 2022. Both the individual and team components were conducted online.

Glad that Kai En was awarded Silver (Top 20%) and and Amos was awarded Bronze (Top 30%) in the individual component.

"The NUS Geography Challenge 2022 proved to be a truly enlightening experience, requiring extensive research that surpassed what can be found in textbooks. This opportunity allowed me to enhance my analytical skills and broaden my knowledge. Subsequently, I had the privilege to join MOE's Geography Talent Development Programme, where I attended workshops conducted by URA and NLB, as well as seminar series organised by NUS and NTU. Through these activities, I delved into diverse geographical terrains at a microscopic level. At present, I am engaged in a passion project aimed at educating students about the challenges faced by sheltered animals and the importance of shelters."
