Da Nang French Village Ba Na Hill Vietnam

Decided to upgrade our flight to try out business class as it is our 32nd ROM anniversary!

What a spread at the lounge. Gotten a bowl of hot kuey teow soup. Nice!

My goodness they changed the boarding gate without messaging me. Rushed from gate F35 to E7 which is so far away. Thank goodness hubby saw on the TV at gate F35 they had changed the gate to E7. They should really message the customer as I followed the one on my ticket. Now still waiting as they are cleaning up the cabin. The flight was delayed due to the weather.

Could have chosen from the spread in the menubut we were still quite full.

So nice to sleep with the pillow and blanket.

Thank God we bought the fast track (US$50 per pax arranged by tour agent. It was quite a queue if we had not gotten the fast track. The staff met us at the Escalator and brought us straight to the custom officer. No need to queue. He also helped us pick up our luggage and brought me to buy a sim card US$10 before bringing us to our driver.

Walked towards the immigration and saw a crowd.

The staff waved at us and received us at the bottom of the escalator.

He brought us direct to the custom officer.

He helped us picked up the luggage and brought us out to meet our driver.

On our way up to the French Village Ba Na Hill after we check in at the cable car base station. We have booked the executive suite at Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills.

The bell boy helped us with our luggage to the cable car.

It was bright and clear at the base station and we could see the waterfall clearly.

As we approached the cable car station at the top, it became covered in the mist and almost zero visibility.

Totally enveloped by the mist. We lost sight of the bell boy earlier and could not find the allocated building which is Hotel Nice.

Nice executive suite and deco of the room by the staff. Gratitude for the cake for our anniversary as well! Too bad it does not have a balcony. The toilet is really huge. There is also another toilet at the lower level.

At LeTable for late lunch. Average foie gras which did not melt in the mouth. The ribeye is compatible to our western stalls. Plating is nice though.

Escargot was quite good.

There is a glass of free wine with the steak.

The oysters were very fresh.

Crossed over to Le Petrin near LeTable restaurant. Amazing egg coffee as well as salted coffee. However the matcha tiramisu was too frozen and the donut not soft enough.

Wanted to go to the Golden bridge but accidentally went back to base station. Surprisingly the weather at the foot of the mountain is so clear.

Impossible to see anything at the Golden bridge so we went back to the top where our hotel is.

Freezing cold with the mist.

Most delicious buffet dinner at La Crique. I had two servings of fried prawn crackers with vegetables wrapped in rice paper. Hubby is of all praise for the food here especially the fried noodle and chicken. I love the Tom yam mushroom and tomatoes  as well as the fruits too especially banana. Buffet with free flow wine , beer and drink at 799000 dong per pax!

Beautiful church in the French village. St Denis Cathedral is a miniature version of the Basilica of Saint-Denis in France.

Random photos near the church and in the hotel.

Wore 3 tops as it was so cold. Frozen is an apt title for my experience here. I think it is 12 degree Celsius here. Hubby wanted to explore the ground in darkness.

Ba Na Hill French Village day 2

Woke up early so that we can take the 6am cable car to the Golden bridge.  This is only available for hotel guests as the theme park guests can only come to at 8am.

We walked towards the European Garden.

Breakfast at the hotel. So crowded with many from the Thai group tours. Took the porridge with salted egg and sausage (forgot to take photos of this and hubby's food.) The glass noodle average and pancakes not as good. Hubby commented one of the sausage and lamb were good.

Cannot deny the hotel is beautiful as it takes the shape of a castle.

Went over to Fantasy Park to check out Jurassic.

Went to check out the hotel pool. It is beautiful  and has warm water.

Decided to check out the wine cellar so we took the cable car to mid level station. My Goodness it was so crowded and we have to give up. Decided to visit it tomorrow.

Moon castle

Took the funicular back to the French Village.

Took our lunch at Rosa hotpot. Love the tempura and pudding that i took multiple servings. The soup base not as rich as shudaxia. Hubby took their frog leg and love their vegetables.

Went over to Fantasy Park to watch the shows.

Back to Le Petrin for it's coffee. Ordered Latte and coconut coffee. Think I preferred yesterday's. Also ordered egg tart, Pate and bacon tarts.

Went back to the room as hubby needed a nap as he woke up early today despite sleeping late yesterday.

View from our room

Back today crique for buffet dinner. Lack of choice fordining. Food is the same as yesterday.

Took a quiet walk around the French village. Less cold tonight. Hubby love that the whole area looked so mystical with the mist. The feel of Europe in Vietnam. The buildings are so beautiful. Hubby wanted to stay overnight as there will be less crowded at night.

Didn't realised there is a convenience store until the last night here.

Our room is right at the top with the rounded walls.

Danang French Village Day 3

Very foggy at the Golden bridge

At the wine cellar.

Back to French village

Street food

The sun is out!

Went to Beer plaza to claim our free beer. We were given four vouchers. You can see the brewery here too.

A couple taking their wedding photo in the cathedral.

The bell boy helped to carry our luggage from our hotel building hotel Nice to the hotel Paris to checkout.

A scenic cable car ride down to base station.
