Silver Ring Making Workshop

Attended a workshop on silver Ring making at Few Gram silver at Orchard Gateway. I can only say it's hardworking. 😅 From heating, hammering it into shape, creating the pattern,  Polishing etc

We need to select the ring pattern first,

Then we measured our ring size - mine was size 16

We were then given a strip of silver band which we had to cut to wrap around our finger. We had to heat it, then dip it into water to cool it before we could bend the strip.

I decided to engrave LL inside the ring.

We had to put the silver paste to join the two ends by heating

Had to grind the ring to smoothen the surface, especially the joining part.

The ring became whitish in color after filing.

Dip into a pot to remove the impurties. 

Final polishing

Final stage which took a long time.
