Geography Project for Sec 3

Please remember to complete your Geography Project and hand in when school reopens! Deadline - 29 June 2009.

Project Task: To submit a 5 min video clip based on the river journey from the source to the mouth. You must also submit a short writeup with the synopsis (the content of your video) as well as credits given to your group members and the list of reference for your video.

You might want to make use of Window Movie maker which is available on your computer. Just compile your pictures, video and music. Remember to save the project in case you need to make changes. Please also save as movie file (NOT THE PROJECT FILE) and send it to me at lily_lee68@yahoo.com.sg

N4 Cluster Humanities Competition

Our students took part in the N4 Cluster Humanities Competition today at Greendale Sec. Our Sec 3 team won the 2nd runner-up position in the SS debate. Though our Sec 2 and Sec 1 teams did not win in the History and Geography competition, it was good exposure and I think they had fun! Fun on Foot, the e-Challenge!

Fans of the Fun on Foot treasure hunt can look forward to the return of this festival favourite. However, in a brand new twist, the e-invasion has taken over the treasure hunt. Enmazing race briefing at NTU

Our group is the 2nd largest with 7 teams and I must say our group has left quite an impression on the organizer. Quite disappointed with some of the students who came in late though. I hope that they will be more punctual for the actual event next week as every second counts in the race. I hope that they will get into the top 10 and win the medals. The GOH is Mr George Yeo and the event will start very early at 7 am at Vivocity. Ms Low will be there in the morning and I will be there for the prize presentation in the evening as we have a combined activity with the HS Red Cross (inline skating) in the morning.
