What does the Singapore Spirit mean to you?

I think it is important for all of us to see ourselves as one - that Singapore is our homeland and that we are Singaporean. Singaporeans are known to be "kiasu" but in a more positive light I would say that it is the motivation to achieve or to attain the best which pushes us on. We need to stay competitive in the modern day concept of a global village.

Despite the fact that Singapore is a multi-cultural society, I must say our people has been united as one. We study, play and work together in harmony despite the differences in our cultures and religious beliefs. We celebrate different festivals and national events such as the National Day Parade together. It is this spirit that bond us as ONE - SINGAPOREAN!
