Took a cab and told him to stop at the bus bay next to the Harbourfront cruise terminal. The luggage check in area is just next to it. As I have already printed the luggage tags at home, it was a breeze checking in the luggage and I was given the queue number 1 to check in at 5 pm. I was told I could go to the check in area at level 2 around 430pm.
The ship as viewed from the waiting area on level 2 where we have to check in. My cabin is on the other side facing Sentosa. Will take another photo when we board.
Limited choice on the room service with a charge. So far it had been free on Royal Carribean and Princess cruise which I had been in the last 2 years.
Our balcony at deck 10
First thing which you will need to do onboard is to link your Costa card to your credit card so that there is no need to queue to settle your bill on the last day. The machine can be found next to the Fantasia restaurant on deck 5. Those who do not want to pay by credit card would need to pay a US$150 cash deposit in order to use the Costa card to pay for extra expenses on board e.g. drinks etc.
Took some food at the Bolero Buffet, on Deck 11
Decided to take our dinner at the Italian restaurant on Deck 12. There was a promotion of buy one get one free but we were the only patrons. I supposed many did not want to spend the extra US$33.50
After that we went to the concord plaza to watch the Coco Trio perform.
Of course we ordered the cocktail while watching the performance. We were the only pair there when they started their performance.
Went to the Pizzaria for supper
not so impressed by their laksa
Their pizza is really good!
Ordered room service porridge - disappointed that it does not have meat floss like Sapphire Princess.
Day 2
Sea day - woke up at 8am and decided to explore the ship.
the shops were still closed.
went to the chapel next to the festive theatre
the festive theatre which I enjoyed the shows every night (except day 3 as we were in Phuket)
Buffet breakfast at Sinfonia
I took my breakfast at Sinfonia
Library was empty
Buffet at Bolero on deck 11
The swimming pool was crowded.
Ordered breakfast in the room (no charge) at 930am
Resting at the deck - very windy.
Went for lunch at Fantasia Restaurant
Menu for the a-la-carte
Love the chicken wings!
green papaya salad
Love the fried rice and the sambal sotong. Hubby had the fish kebab
Too bad the pool at the spa was under maintenance so we did not swim at all
wanted to exercise at the gym but too lazy to do so...
a picture at the balcony before gala night
Promotion of 2 lobster with a bottle of sparkling white wine at only US$20!
Love the pumpkin soup
Love the crab which is the special dish for the gala night
Amazing performance at the Festive theatre
Bought some scratch cards which gave the bears free - I placed it on the deco in my cabin with the only chocolate given throughout our trip. Sapphire princess had it every day.
Ordered room service for supper- love the fried dumplings which is so crunchy.
