Changi Day trip 12 Nov

One of the reasons for visiting Changi village is definitely the food. We love the very nice chicken rice ball and tender chicken @  Old Jonker Street, Malacca Chicken Rice Ball. Day trip to Changi. My mum loves the coffee here too.

The Changi Village hawker centre was closed for renovations and will be reopened on 15 Nov. The food here was awesome too. You can see my earlier post http://mrslilylee.blogspot.com/2022/06/changi-day-trip.html

My mum always enjoy looking at the boats from the ferry terminal moving off to Pulau Ubin.

Interesting sculpture "inscription of the island".  Look at the human activities behind it. A yatch club nearby with the yatch which brings people out to sea, the kelongs where fishes are reared to provide food for people. The Pulau Ubin jetty with the ferry which brings people for a closer to nature experience on the small island.

This was once part of a colossal statue that guided the ships of an ancient, mythical civilisation. Read more about it

You can rent a bicycle by scanning the QR code on the bicycle. A zero carbon footprint mode of transport and healthy recreation in biking.

The quality of the chendol seemed to have dropped cos we tasted a bit of sourness. The queue was very long. However I still love the fried banana fritters and Wadei.
