Norwegian Jade Day 1 & 2 Sea day

Day 1 Embarkation
Our concierge, Sumedh, prepared our key card and documents. Surprised that NCL has no access to VIP lounge. It was opened to Genting Dream. At least there was priority check-in. The staff was not very sure and led us to the normal line at first 😅.

Concierge brought us up to the ship and to Cagney restaurant for lunch.

Lunch at Cagney restaurant. Thanks Melanie for recommending the house wine. Also order their special cocktail Mr Worldwide. We ordered shrimp cocktail and hot smoked salmon for appertizer. Hubby had the New York strip steak and me the Flounder Milanese. Soup of the day Seafood chowder.

Some pictures around the ship. Passed by the Garden café where the buffet is and got myself an ice cream cone.

We were able to go to our room at 1 pm and we could see from our balcony Genting dream docked next to the Norwegian Jade. Our room on Genting dream was the one above the captain bridge with the panorama view from the full window in the living room above the bridge.

My beautiful 2 bedroom suite 11018. Love the window by the tub and shower. Shower has 6 water jets for a spa like experience but not as strong as the shower in the second bathroom. Also like that they gave the bath salt for the tub. Love the coffee machine which I made ourselves a cup of coffee or expresso everyday. Complimentary sparkling wine and one bottle of water. A very nice bouquet of real flowers! Think this suite can house six people.

Always love to make my own coffee in the morning.

Love the big bed. There are USB outlet at the base of the night lights on both sides of the bed which you can plug in the cable to charge your phone.

The sofa bed which can sleep another two.

Complimentary sparkling wine and beautiful bouquet of flowers.

There are two safe boxes.

Simply love the window by the bath tub.

The second bedroom which can sleep two.

360 views of our cabin. Really love the windows by the tub and shower. Think will not need the second bedroom and toilet. Total luxury with 3 TVs w DVD players. Access the 6 other parts of the cabin by clicking on the arrow to bring up the scenes.

Another complimentary restaurant O'Sheehan. Ordered the Coney island hot dog which tasted better than A&W. Speciality Coffee such as latte chargeable.

Went to Spinnaker lounge and saw Genting dream leaving the port.There is a chapel next to the lounge. So tiny and first one we see without a cross.

There is a gym and spa below it. Wow there were people exercising already.

Booked Le Bistro today and would be going to Teppanyaki tomorrow followed by captain cocktail as it's sea day. Also booked Moderno (Brazilian restaurant) on last sea day. The TV screen shows how packed the dining areas were.

Most comfortable muster drill ever. 5pm at the theatre😅

Passed by the casino.

Dinner at Le Bistro. Nice ambience away from the crowd. Quiet and peaceful dinner as I watch the ship sail away. Grateful to be seated next to the window. Escargot was big in size but miss that buttery taste compared to the one at chez papa. Mushroom soup was rich but a bit on the salty side. Lamb rack and seared scallop average. Very efficient photographer who gotten our photos printed before our dessert arrived! Brulee was extremely delicious! Pastry with ice cream was great too!

Went back to our cabin and found a BIG cake awaiting us for our anniversary - 26th Wedding anniversary. And the fruits were sent to our room as well.

Amazing welcome aboard variety show! Love the ABBA performance by the dancers and singers as well as breathtaking performance by illusionist Lord Nil and acrobats Gloria and Romain. That's why I love cruise. Food and shows.

Day 2 Sea Day
Breakfast at Modern restaurant for Suite guests. Love the crab cake benedict and the lobster and scallop in toasted brioche.Waffle and hotcake nice too. Love the smoke salmon with melon and fruits

Wow the pools are so deep... Don't dare to swim so relaxed at the hot tub. Wow really good massage as the water jets are so strong. Hubby likes the swim though. 1.55m to 1.75m.

What a beautiful sunny day. Wanted to take a bath but then realised had to attend a VIP talk for priority disembarkation and tender at the port's. Went to tradewind which is the shopping area but could not find anything worthwhile to buy.

Lunch at Garden Cafe. Love the Asian food esp the chicken curry and rice. Like the lime cheesecake and jello too... Going to get my ice cream. The fried rice and the fried stuff not as good. Korean beef was OK for me but not hubby.

Suite perk. Our Butler brought in the evening treat and it is so nice having it with the complimentary sparkling wine at the balcony.

At O'Sheehan. Tried their famous Buffalo wings before dinner.at 5pm. Saw so many boats from the window.

Dinner at Teppanyaki. Love his performance and singing. Like the Garlic rice but still still prefer Sakae teppanyaki. However it took so long that I missed the captain cocktail.

Watch the Palace of Lights at the stardust theatre.

Went back to the cabin and saw the fruits replenished.

Ordered the New York cheesecake and coffee to my cabin. Wanted tomato juice so much and Charlie was so nice to bring them for me too. The milk is my favourite Malaysian Brand Good day. Gratitude for the Butler and complimentary room service for suite. I do miss the congee set which I ordered every night on Sapphire Princess with the chicken meat floss..
