Love the photos taken by the photographer as well as the Vietnamese traditional costume by Việt Phục Hội An - Viet Phuc, Ao dai Rental, Sale & Photoshoot at 112C Đ. Phan Chu Trinh, Phường Minh An, Hội An, Quảng Nam, Vietnam. The shop is conveniently located near the ancient town.
Took the combo of 2,500,000 vnd Full Package for 2 people that included costumes, makeup and photographer. The shoot ranged from 1 to 2 hours along the street, and I was sent more than 100 files editted by email after 3-5 days via a Google drive.
Great service in dressing us up in traditional costume. Hubby's hat took a while as they wrapped the strip of cloth around his head. The makeup artist put on my makeup and even helped to put on some of the jewellery on me. The photographer name is Vỹ and he brought to the streets of ancient town. He is familiar with the area and have chosen very good back drop for the photoshoot.
Found out a bit more on the traditional costume I worn in the photoshoot. Source Nhat Binh, which is literally ‘square-collared,’ is named for the way its collar dangles down forming two parallel lines and looks like a rectangle. Nhat Binh is buttoned in the middle with a finely sculpted jade button. Another prominent feature of the garment is the five colored lines on the sleeves, which symbolize the five elements: wood, earth, water, metal, and fire. Since the reign of King Dong Khanh in the late 19th century, Nhat Binh has been worn with a ‘khan vanh’ (Vietnamese turban).
