Day 8
Beautiful sunrise at Laem Chabang Port in Thailand.
After that we went to Nong Nooch Garden and I could not believe how big the place is! We only managed to cover the animal farm, the landscape art, the fountain and European Garden. Didn’t have time for the elephant and cultural shows. So much to explore. Love the photo I took of the tiger at the Pottery garden.
I have booked via PTTaxi a tour of Pattaya from 8am to 330 pm at 2500 baht. The driver, Kwan, was very friendly and did not know that they have to pay the pay the port permit at 500 baht which I paid later as he could not claim from his company.
He bought us to a local eatery and my hubby had his favourite blood curd with noodle. I love the minced meat.
After that we went to Mimosa – total disappointment – DO NOT GO there – wasted the 300 baht entrance fee.
He brought us to the Buddha mountain. I bought some longon fruits there and it tasted so nice! Juicy and smooth unlike the ones we got here.
Found my favourite quail eggs outside the Central Festival market. Ate lunch there – basil chicken and pai thai.
Had Dinner at Sante Fe Dining room. The shrimp bisque was nice. The chicken satay
was average and the Singapore laksa was disastrous. The pork chop was hard but hubby’s lamb shank
was ok.
Ordered congee with more floss for supper again.
We watched the performance by vocalist Michael Falzon at the Princess Theatre. Went to the lounge for the cocktail – Hubby love the lychee margarita and this was his 11th glass of cocktail onboard! I had one or two a day too.
