2025 Hua Hin Thailand

 Day 1

Finally checked into Resort de Pakasni in Hua Hin. Booked a pool access room.

Took a grab transport to Bluport to get a pair of shoes as hubby accidentally stepped into the water with his shoes. Grab is very convenient and cost us around 90 baht from hotel to Bluport.

50% discount so 800 plus baht. Big C is at the ground level.

Grabbed to Hua hin night market. Love the steam fish so much. Steamed with dried mushroom and soy sauce. So fresh and soft. Love the rice noodle with clear soup, pork ball and blood curd. Hubby ordered the phai Thai and fried oysters. Fried phai Thai too sweet for our liking.

Oh my goodness the mini pancakes are so delicious. Regretted buying only 8 for 10 baht. Hubby bought 5 pants for 1120 baht.

Hubby took a dip into the pool.

Day 2

Pictures in our pool access room.

The breakfast is very good. You can grill your own pork skewers mini doughstick and make your own waffle! Simply delicious! The  delicious fried rice noodle with chicken is like our fried hor fun.  Hubby ordered the toast with scrambled egg and bacon. Love their breakfast! Breakfast with a sea view.

You can pick from the hot menu which is good as quality is ensured!

One of the reasons for picking this hotel is the beautiful beachfront. The sand is so soft. You can see the bird feet print on the sand! A lady walking her dog at the beach.

The closest I can get to a fishing boat cos of the low tide. Next to the Golden Buddha.

Grabbed to Siam Venezia.

King and Queen for the day.

Bought the all inclusive package starting with a mini train ride.

1st stop mini zoo.

The staff was so kind to take pictures of us at Fontana Di Trevi Park which is next to the mini zoo.

Next themiji train brought us to mini Europe

Took a Gondola ride.

Not very impressed with the upside down house

Not impressed with the 3D art museum either. Paled against Phuket.

Food is surprisingly good here. Hubby had chicken steak in black pepper and I had basil chicken rice with mushroom tom yum soup.

Went to Let's Relax in Market Village for a good massage. Service was good and we could have a bath first in the room. The mango sticky rice was so good too.

Walked over to Izakaya 88 from market village as we suddenly wanted Japanese food. Awesome Japanese food. The sashimi is so sweet and fresh. The beef slices sukiyaki is 3 times bigger than ichiban. Love the glass noodle, mushroom soup and of course the beef. Ate with garlic rice. Regretted ordering the teriyaki grilled squid. Its nice but my stomach could fill this much 😅 .

Grabbed to Tamarind market. Bought the mini pancake and potato balls. The mini pancakes not as good as the one from Hua Hin market but the potato balls are delicious.

Walked 17 mins back to our hotel. Bought some milk and snacks from the mini C. There are some food stalls near to the hotel.

Capturing our pool access room at night. Its so relaxing sitting on the swing and listening to the flow of the water. Therapeutic.

Day 3

Beautiful coconut jelly flower cake for breakfast today. Hubby ordered the toast with scrambled egg and I ordered the fried rice noodle. Wish they have vermicelli. Grilled my doughstick and pork skewers. Made the waffle and salad. Though the spread is small, quality is ensured.

There is a second pool on the upper deck.

A few pictures at the bar.

Engaged Mr Mud again for a half day tour of the floating market, a Buddhist temple, railway library and market village.

At Huan hin Samphannan Floating Market. Took a boat ride and played a shooting game. It suddenly rained and took a light lunch.

Hubby managed to get his clear soup vermicelli noodle with pork balls and blood curd. Yummy. I took the chicken rice. Love the rice but chicken average. Found my favourite fried banana.

The train is out of service so just take a photo with it. Strange as I already paid for it. 200bath admission with boat and train ride each. Bought a shirt and some preserved plums. No performance either so a bit disappointed.

Wat Huay Mongkol .
วัดห้วยมงคล Buddhist temple known for its enormous statue of storied monk Luang Pu Thuat.

Railway library

Went to market village to exchange some Thai Baht. You need to bring your passport which i forgot yesterday.  Bought some stuff from Lotus and ate at KFC.

So nice to take a swim in the pool. Its so clean and the water temperature is just right. Very serene.

Grabbed to Cicada market.managed to get a handmade necklace and a shirt.

Grabbed to Patio town night market and realised it is more of a food court. Walked to the nearby Chatsila night market and realised it the one we walked to Hua hin night market. Bought the very nice mini pancake again.

Dinner at Bird Chilli. Lobster in cheese thermidor, grilled squid and morning glory.

Back to the hotel and took the cocktails at the hotel bar. I had Hemingway Daiquiri and hubby had Moscow Mule.
The place is well decorated and music is soothing.

Day 4

The playful squirrel on the tree.
Breakfast area.

Some selfie around the hotel.

The beach outside the hotel is beautiful.

Footprints of the dogs on the beach

The Golden Buddha in the far distance.

The hotel is so sweet as to have a shower area near the entrance for guests who went to the beach. There are two sets of towels, one blue for the beach goers with a very cute picnic bag. The bathroom robe and both beach slippers and room slippers are provided. There are also umbrella provided. Very thoughtful of them.

Horse riding on the street.

Stopped for a toilet break on our way to Bangkok.
