On 1st Dec, we took a cab to the Marina Bay Cruise centre and realised that even though boarding starts at 11 am. Many were already there at 10 plus. There were altogether 4 queues - one to deposit the luggage - I had printed the luggage tag and therefore the deposit was very quick. The second queue is the security checkpoint - luckily we went earlier as it got really very crowded after 1030am. There was a separate queue for suite guests to check-in and we were given a pink ticket which means we are also the first to board the ship.
The sea pass is silver in colour for the junior suite. I had already check-in online and printed the set sail pass so I just need to verify my passport and credit card.
We were the earliest in the Windjammer café and the spread was quite good. The hotdog is juicy and the pizzas are real favourite for all. Love the Indian dishes but they definitely have to improve on the soup as it is too watery and salty. The desserts are really fantastic though we find it very sweet!
As the time was still early we decided to check out the ship as our room was not ready.

You will need to recharge using your sea pass to play in the arcade - I topped up US$10.
One thing to note at the arcade machine - you swipe the card this way - not the magnetic strip but the bar code at the side.
This is the Savoy theatre which we watch most of the shows. Fantastic performances which I looked forward to every night.

the games in the casino are played using US dollars so if you want to play do bring some US dollars
The promenade on deck 5 was crowded with shoppers especially on the last day.

My luggage had not arrived yet so I used the USB port on the TV to charge my battery and phone. You will need to bring adaptor for 110V (US version) with the 2 power points given.
The junior suite has a bathtub in the toilet - really very big for a cruise. Full set of bathroom amenities provided except for toothpaste and tooth brush.

You can check the cruise program from the TV in the room as well as the onboard expenses incurred tag to the sea pass account. I did not use the coffee maker as we could order the room service free of charge including coffee and hot chocolate any time.

Our suite 9318 on Mariner of the Seas is so spacious and I love the balcony! However the pillow is a bit too flat and did not provide sufficient support though the mattress was good.

Just disappointed that Singapore room service menu is more limited in choice compared to the international cruise.
We bought the cocktail of the day at US$6.75 each and the cocktail of the day was Singapore sunset on 1st Dec. We got to keep the glasses and I managed to keep 9 by the end of the cruise!
We ordered room service at 530pm - the spring roll was so crunchy!
My hubby ordered this Fried egg noodle three times over the next few days. The soup was disappointing as it was so diluted.
