Celebrity Solstice Day 12 sea day & 13 HK

Day 12 Sea Day

We saw a Chinese boat and realised we were nearing the mainland and the WiFi connection was so poor.

A fishing boat in action.

Some photos at the balcony

Last day on the ship. Will reach HK at 6am the last day of the cruise. We had breakfast at Ocean view cafe again. Love the chicken congee. There was sticky bun which looks like cinnamon roll and taste like cinnamon roll. 😅 I don't like cinnamon but hubby loved it.

Ordered room service as we wanted hot milk and some fruits.

Collected our passports from Michael's club. The luggage tag for debarkation was placed in the room together with the designated time slots for debarkation. We have decided to disembark at 6.45am so we did not leave our luggage outside the room.

Approaching Hai Kou, Hainan and we saw this fishing boat.

At Luminae for lunch. The staff was so nice to make for us a root beer float (root beer chargeable as we do not have a drink package as we gotten the suite under moveup) though its not on the menu. Be it Blu or Luminae, the baguette was excellent. The crust was so thin and crisp whereas the inside was so soft. Blue had more dips though and I really love the one made of beet. Hubby didn't quite like the tuna tartare.

The beef is good and so is my Cobb salad. Was too full for desserts

They distributed coconut drinks near the pool but I did not queue for it.

Went to Persian Garden for the heated bed. It was really therapeutic as there was a very nice smell from the essential oil and the music was so soothing. Great view of the open sea too.

Went for a swim at the indoor pool which is less crowded. However the pool is really too small.

Exotic fruits like pomegranate, dragon fruits, rambutans and jambu were given out in the ocean view cafe today. I took 1 Jambu, some longan and rambutans. The longans are so sweet and juicy.

Photographs from the photographers taken yesterday. No more photoshoot today. Bought all the digital photos for USD 199.90.

Our butler brought us afternoon tea

There are so many Christmas trees on the boat. This was outside the main dining room, another one outside blue. 2 at the Grand foyer and 1 more at the library.

Dinner at Luminae.

We had the cocktails Pomegranate mojito and Carribbean cobbler. Took the lemon sesame bread, macaroon with raspberry filling. French onion soup which tasted better. Hubby took Vadouvan chicken with rice and I took lamb shank with very yummy garlic potato puree.  Dessert were soufflé and Sorbet.

Celebrity Showtime Broadway Cabaret show which I had looked forward to.

Pictures with the vocalists tonight.

Hubby missed the curry chicken so I went up to get some food. The vegetable spring rolls were so yummy.

Passed by the pool and it was so empty and quiet.

Day 13 Debarkation

The ship arrived at Hong Kong early 5 plus.

We were able to check out at 6.45am. Luckily we were there at 6.30am. There was a long queue for self assisted debarkation.
